NE PA where we have a house had some heavy showers the last two weeks wiping out the deficit...

All Suffolk needs is a well placed very wet system tropical or otherwise to work down the 5.98" deficit at ISP since the year began.

a stalled fromt with a tropical feed would do it.   I think with the warmer than average water off the coast and possibly a more active tropical season, the goods could be delivered b/w late August and October.

Still looking pretty wet for Saturday afternoon, right when we are having the block party.

Thinking tomorrow we will pull the plug. Rain date is next weekend. We have DJ and stuff we are paying for, so dont want to be wasted.

Of course its the only rainy day of the week.

Had that same issue last September.  We got the one wet day of an entire dry period of 2-3 weeks.  Had to go with it since we had a food truck booked-rain did come, but it was near the end.

Win the Powerball, and add an outdoor amusement park to your block party. It will be the largest party in town. A must add ride would be Music Express with live DJ.

Not a block party for me, but having my son's 10th birthday that day and lots of people over. Hoping it won't be too bad.

Not as cool this morning with a low of 61° compared to 59° the last two mornings.  Should be a beauty today.

Also, just saw a mother bear with 2 or 3 little cubs down the street from me.  The cubs ran up a small tree and the mother just kept walking.  They came darting back out soon after.

Those three cubs ended up coming on our property and then climbed a big tree.  They were afraid to come down and were stuck for a good 45 minutes.  Finally, one came down, followed by the other which stood up and cried for it's mother who was deeper into our property.  Once she came to the tree with the other two cubs the third one finally clawed his way down.  The mother was about 400 pounds.

Anyway, 79° and sunny here.

Pulled the plug on the block party...we have a DJ ordered and a bounce house water slide, so we would rather re-schedule than deal with the storms and lose money on the DJ.

Hoping to try again next weekend.

Good luck!  That really stinks though
