Could have practically grown tomatoes until Christmas around here and now it's April and I'm wondering if the early bulbs are going to freeze up. Crazy. 34.

That's what happens when you have the warmest November through Mach period in recorded history. Now we have tress and flowers blooming 3-6 weeks early around our area and we're now getting what normally happens in April  in most of our area and that's several hard freezes.

Please God never another 5 month period like that again, it was brutal.

If only the low went south of the NYC area instead of north.[/quote

Just missed out on this one, although it is actually a tick south then the rest of the models had it by this time.

I think we all see a change to snow at the end but no accumulations in the city.

things look really juicy west of us,and racing towards the coast. some of those heavy cells might actually bring snow in to n.y.c later on before a changeover to rain.obviously the axis of heavier precip is farther south then modeled presently so let's see how interesting it gets here in the city esp northern manhattan and the bronx.

now we see why everything is trending south, look at the low developing along ack??.the blocking is shunting everything ese right now.some would say that n.y.c might be in a good spot here as it pulls away with this setup really not budging the cold air.also heavy snow might be incoming in a few mins here in the city before the rain then back to heavy snow before it ends in my opinion.

Old man winter is laughing in the face of spring as the cold reloads for next weekend

with a nice Greenland block setting up. The extremes continue this year as we are

talking about 20's in April this week when NYC couldn't even drop below freezing

in December.

That has a wicked look.

And crazy after December indeed.
