Temps cresting 40 with some sun is bit of an improvement over the expectation of slates freezing mist and occasional flurries N of the Pike as suggested by machine and man this time yesterday. Much colder than yesterday's machine guidance... still 16F at the picnic tables and 24F in the lower elevations. Ground remains 20% covered from morning snow. Freezing drizzle has been going on for a couple of hours, the light snow is newly added to the mix.
