Seems to have stopped in Wake Forest and north Raleigh. For some reason my office decided to open at 2:00. Capital Blvd is clear, but the side roads are messy.

That should give you just enough time to go into work, talk about the weather, and head back home.   :)  I'd hate to have to get dressed just for that.

Temperature made it up to 29.8 around 11am, it's since dropped to 29.1 and held steady there for the last 2 hours.

Talk about a waste of a good over-performing CAD wedge. Every short range model had me warming to about 32/33 degrees by now.   The problem is that I've received a total of about 10 drops of rain that evaporated before they could freeze today.

It'll be fun watching the 32.5 degree  heavy rain fall after about 36 straight hours of below freezing temperatures later tonight. :axe:

The thing is if I didn't come in I would have to take a whole day of PTO. And of course I am the only one in my group here.

Meanwhile, it just started raining hard here. Too bad we didn't have that last night when it was cold enough for snow.

No worry. The French model will save us...
