McDowell_Weather Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Man you talk about a crazy night, I woke up at midnight to lightning and thunder, went bake to sleep till 3 to hear KABOOM!!! Transformer blew right beside my window. I-40 hwy226, 221 were closed due to stranded motorists and wrecks, 40 looked like a parking lot. Red cross opened up multiple shelters.
