2/12-13 Snow Showers

Recommended Posts

People that made out best last year were the ones that got the pre-frontal snow. There was an area of snow that developed out ahead of the main squall. MoCo thru HoCo thru north central AA seemed to jackpot. I know I was pushing 3" for the event and the wind howled that night.

Anyway, SNSQ parameter still showing decent numbers into the metro areas later.

Where do you find that?  On the SPC maps?

Any reports from southern me? They're in some greens but it may be virga.

Assuming you mean Southern MD, no nothing falling in St Mary's county and sun is peeking out from time to time.

Pixie dust in the Ville. Picking up a little, so maybe light, light snow?.

Yup that's what it appears to me. Hopefully we can pick up an inch tonight.

To nitpick myself, the rest of the areas below -

I'm hoping the upcoming cold/wind will lead to some cool ice stuff happening on the shoreline...

I got completely crushed by that squall last year. It hit on 2/14 last year.

Here's the video i took. Blizzard conditions.

I def remember seeing those conditions.  My wife and I got caught in Columbia trying to get some dinner that night.  We def weren't expecting that and the Columbia/Elkridge area got slammed.  Roads got really bad really fast.
