Atomixwx Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 I was starting to wonder all afternoon if CTP was just going to let this one play out before they finally hoisted Advisories for the southern third of the CWA that wasn't already under the WSW. Personally, given the set up and how this one looks like it could play out, I personally wouldn't have faulted them for it but the horde of mongrels on social media would be calling for people's heads if so much as a dusting fell without a HWO or a Blizzard warning or something. And wmpstwx, keep the 4 inch talk to a minimum here. Women and small children read this forum and I don't have the time to explain how your midsection became known as the "measure of insignificance". This event should put MDT over their average annual seasonal snow total. The rest of winter will just be gravy & stat padding. Did anyone see the EPS 12z control run today? It is a thing of beauty for all of us. By the end of the 15 day run, it has all of PA in 12 + inches of snow. The LSV area approached 2 feet. Solid coating on grass & car tops, and roads are slushy here. MDT & Harrisburg Cap. Light coating on grass, sidewalks show a little slush. I see yellows and reds showing up in Md moving NNE and lighting off the Carolina Coast. Coastal low is Developing I think lol.
