Rumor was it earlier that the snow was beating out the dry air quickly/easily down in Philly. Crazy to see a storm line this doing that so easily, compared to storms other years

There's really nothing like a true blizzard. Long Beach during Boxing Day 2010 was amazing for that. Several hours in the late evening where it was essentially a whiteout. 1/26/11 had heavier snow rates, but nowhere near the kind of wind and overall "storminess". The later hours in 2/25/10 had that effect as well. Once we finally went over to snow, we had the snow with 50-60 mph winds.
