Hope you guys cash in up north. The shoreline is getting destroyed. Easily 6 inches here. Reports out of Fairfield County are crazy.

ONE INTENSE SNOW BAND MOVED THROUGH NYC AND LONG EARLIER...AND IS
NOW IN THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND SOUTHERN CT. ADDITIONAL BANDS
OF HEAVY SNOW CONTINUE TO FORM OFFSHORE AND LIFT UP INTO THE AREA
ATTM...THEN BANDING TO THE WEST OVER PA SHOULD PIVOT THROUGH LATER
TODAY INTO THE EVENING. EXPECT SNOWFALL RATES OF 1-2 INCHES TO
CONTINUE IN/NEAR MOST OF THE BLIZZARD WARNING AREA THROUGH THE
DAY...WHICH IN TANDEM WITH ACCUMULATIONS ALREADY AROUND A FOOT IN
NYC SHOULD LEAD TO ACCUMULATIONS MOSTLY IN THE 20-25 INCH RANGE
FOR LONG ISLAND...NYC...SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER/FAIRFIELD...AND
NORTHEAST NJ...AND EASILY MAKE THIS A TOP TEN SNOWSTORM FOR NYC.

THE ALL TIME RECORD OF 26.9 INCHES LOOKS SAFE FOR THE TIME
BEING...BUT ULTIMATELY THAT WILL DEPEND ON THE DURATION AND
INTENSITY OF BANDING MOVING THROUGH LATER TODAY.

Went from nothing at noon to light then almost moderate snow in Wellesley Center. Back in Wayland now and light snow.

That happened in Natick...just like a switch.

You can see the best snow in the pike region right now is actually just W of BOS for now...though BOS will fill in
