The primary low needs to weaken and have the low in the Atlantic take over to stunt the WAA. Until that happends WAA will continue to increase. I finally get more precip than surrounding area's during a winter storm... and it's all rain. Argh!!!! Edit: just had a 26 mph gusts, maybe we'll go over to freezing rain soon. LovingGulfLows Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 So far, I've gotten over 2 inches of rainbased on weather.gov. Some reports have over 3 inches of rain not too far north of me. HRR still has another 1.3 inches of precip. before the storm ends. Amazing. The winds are coming hard from the NE. Now I just need to hope temps get cold enough and the comma cloud swings through.
