Am i the only poster here that dreams small storms and above average temps? The next 6 weeks will be the hardest for winter haters like my self. Winters death march till the end of March..

This is what I wish for every winter. I hate any kind of cold, but snow doesn't bother me as much, as long as it melts quickly. I'd like to move somewhere warmer in the not so distant future.

Some people just don't like winter, indeed some folks suffer from a form of seasonal depression. But they generally don't hang out around forums where people actually like such weather. So why do folks like you and Marsplex, who seem like reasonable people, hang out here? Is it to see if winter will end early? Serious question, as my primary sociological interest is in snow weenies, there are too many warm lovers to make that interesting...

I don't like the cold that much either, maybe every once in awhile or during a snow storm. Much rather it be Summer right now.

Because this place and the folks here are a goldmine of info, i no longer have to rely on the goofs at news12 or whatever to get my forecast info. The people here are rock solid. I appreciate them all and i learn a lot here too. Love this place.

you can lay into long range guesses all you want but you missed the biggest storm of the season within 48 hours

PB GFI has been the best forecaster in this sub forum this winter. He called the El Niño as being not east based. Win. He called the pattern flip at 500 in early January. Win. He called for the Blizzard way out, but questioned the NAMs output which is sensible. Win. During this time, you called for warm, warm and more warm. Until 12 hours before the blizzard when you suddenly jumped aboard with a big total. It's ridiculous that you would even question PBs skills after his exemplary performance this season and in light of the ineffectualness of yours.
