Yeah. My issue is that it snowed pretty heavily for a while after that 25.1 at 7pm. Not sure how they botched the final but #2 all time and the #1 single day record are more than enough for me.

The three airports all being well ahead of Central Park-highly unusual, especially JFK and LGA-raises a red flag to me when Manhattan was under the same banding, even seemingly more intense banding, for longer. 

 

There was also a little more snow after that measurement. I strongly believe this broke the record.

I agree. Its pretty accurate but probably a couple tenths too low. Then again who knows, DCA always tends to be a foot less than the surburbs and BWI

26.8 inhes WTF - I feel like I was kicked in the groin.At 7PM there was 25.1 inches, there had to be more than 1.8 inches after 7PM just check the F'n radars from 7-9, there had to be at least 3 inches. Something is going on.

in the past it looks like most storms were measured when the snow stopped...when you get a 24hr storm measuring 12.5" and have a 13" snow depth with no snow on the ground like was recorded January 13th 1964 you know something is suspect......
