You make it sound like it benefits me somehow if you see a lot of rain. Roughly 80% of the time if you're raining, so am I. Just a bit more delayed. I personally don't care how much snow I get as long as it's an active year.

That's what I hope for but it's no guarantee either. Based on stats from past Ninos not all of them were active however given the extent and power of this Nino, I'd be shocked if things ended up relatively quiet. .

Winter is almost done after December.

5 weeks in December

4 weeks in Janaury

4 weeks in February

5 Weeks in March -

I remain optimistic that December will produce snow.

I feel the opposite is true. That'd be like saying Summer is over in June. Just as we get some of our worst heat waves for July and August, some of our biggest snow storms come in January and February.

down by Baltimore?  That will be here around 2 or 3 pm which would make a good chunk of the daylight hours rain free-reading Upton's forecast, it had rain all day.
