Scott - there's nothing on the ground at the office in the Loop. I'm in Logan Square (3 miles inland) and the 3" we had in the fronto band yesterday evening is a slushy half inch on grass now. Currently raining. My flight was canceled as I was on the train to ORD - huge gradient in accums across the city.

Interestingly, everything that had accumulated on my driveway last night has turned to mush and melted and the stuff that fell on grassy surfaces has compacted big time. Warm ground temps certainly have played SOME role.

Yes, same here. I would estimate 12" of fallen snow, with currently about 8" on grassy surfaces, but hardly anything on paved surfaces. Very strange. Temp currently 34.
