and 2015 so far is 96 days at or above 80... looks like there's probably a good shot that 2015 has a shot at #1 by the end of September. If the NWS forecasted highs for the next 7 days are realized (all above 80) than NYC should be at 103.

Just super dry everywhere. On campus areas that aren't hit well or at all by the sprinklers were dying. I had to hand water a ton of hydrangeas that were a mess an defoliating.

Not looking good for the next couple weeks for rain. We need to switch to synoptic rains

Amen! Most reporting stations now have between a 4-6" deficit for the year.
