Awesome day for cloud watching yesterday on the mountain.

 

This is a zoomed-in photo of the top of a giant Cu tower that was like watching a cloud "boil".  Every couple minutes a parcel of air would rise off the top, get up a ways and then dissipate.  Sometimes there would be like 3-4 parcels of air bubbling up off the top of these rapidly rising clouds.

Started seeing explosive Cu development around 11am yesterday and all day long these things were literally bubbling up right in front of us.

Nice. We had a great view to the east above (well behind) Mansfield, of a lone towering cu that dropped over an inch of rain over in Craftsbury yesterday evening.

When I posted that today the dews were in the low- mid 60's. Check time stamps and then I'll decide if I'll accept or deny apologies
