This stuff is laughable compared to what the plains or southeast gets. The stuff moving east from PA isn't even severe, just looks like some heavy showers with a few rumbles of thunder. 

Look at the Sterling, VA radar, not the Mt. Holly radar, too far away. Either way I agree that it will go South of most of us.

None of us really care about the storms in and around Harrisburg... its what comes of north of that... which have storms popping up now.

 

I am sure that the SPC would not have extended the watch til 9pm if they did not think it was necessary.

2 of them exploded quickly, if the cap has indeed eroded maybe we'll see that congeal into a solid line as well.

DELAWARE
MARYLAND
NEW JERSEY
SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA
PARTS OF SOUTHEAST WEST VIRGINIA
COASTAL WATERS

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 405 PM UNTIL
1100 PM EDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY
ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
A TORNADO OR TWO POSSIBLE

Using weathertap and located in Alentown and nothing to the west but maybe some showers..everything is SOUTH of here...

???

Many new cells have formed to the west and north of Allentown.

Should be in the NNJ and NYC vicinity by 7.

LIke i stated pretty much south other then some showers

Severe line South and dropping away and a few pockets of isolated heavy rain showers.. Could they turn severe for you guys? Perhaps... but there is nothing to the west of allentown its all SOUTH

Not really sure what radar you are looking at but there are storms developing rapidly north of Allentown

I mentioned pockets of heavier rain.. I am not talking about the Northeast.. There is NOTHING severe to the west or North of allentown IN PA...sorry.... there is some heavier showers and maybe some garden variety thunder and lightning in northern county... if that is what you are referencing fine ...
