So it was 100% snow on the 25th floor during the heavier band. Mostly rain with a few flakes at the ground. Pretty cool as you Could even look up from the ground at the taller building and see flakes and watch them melt on the way down. Super insulation at the ground level helping temps to be a few degrees warmer then even a couple hundred feet up. Now it's all rain in lighter precip

I wonder how much the WTC roof has...

I wouldn't think much as we had that decent burst then pretty much nothing.

Speaking of elevation and snow, this weekend at whiteface at the summit it was deep winter with a snow pack in the feet 4400' at the base at 1100' there were bare patches in the sun and very little new snow. This time of year really is all about elevation

Sticking to grass, cars, other cold surfaces. Was legit moderate for a bit, now back to light snow.

They might want to make preps in rockland to send out the salt trucks tonight. It's obvious the snow isn't going to accumulate at all on the roadways but we are going to be dropping into the upper 20's and that's going to turn the secondary roads, hills, overpasses and bridges into skating rinks. All this white rain/rain is ponding and soaking the roads and there will almost certainly be some major icing issues even well after all the precip ends. We aren't going to have strong winds in the wake of this clipper to dry everything out
