Statement as of 2:17 PM EDT on May 8, 2015 ... Record high temperature set at Montpelier VT... A record high temperature of 83 degrees was set at Montpelier VT so far today... may 8. This breaks the old record of 82 degrees set in 1982. If the temperature rises further this afternoon... an updated record report will be sent tonight.
