Nice snow. The kind we stack quickly

Send it up here---most of our flakes have been crap.  Good intensity though.

5 mins of heavy snow now back to light.  Was beautiful.  .25" accumulated.  Reflectivities pushing northeast.  Lull coming.  Yay for weekend, daytime snow!  It's a treat even if it's only an inch or two.

Looks like I'll be in the heavy stuff for a while longer.

God-awful hole in the precip going 2/3 of the way the length of PA.   Extrapolating width-wise, it looks like it bisects Kevin's yard on the south to Hanover, NH  on the north.  If that doesn't fill, that's a huge screw job for some folks.

This has been pretty well telegraphed in the modeling for a day or two.  Everything slides southeast.  The wildcard is if the forcing along the boundary buckles a little further to the north in the early morning hours.  If we get enough lift and moisture, we could get a period of moderate snow.  Otherwise it's frdz and then clearning.

Impressive to see Dulles in moderate snow at 25/18 on the South wind...  That's hard to do at that latitude.

Just another on a long list of individual, detail observations that reflect that epic nature of the pattern we have been in.  We may not be staring down the barrel of another 18-24" event -- but the vestiges of the pattern linger.

Thankfully the wind stopped. Radar looks great for all

You may want to take another look at that radar, son.  One saving grace with respect to that hole is that it seems relatively stationary as the eastern edge has filled in the last couple of frames.  That'll be essential or we get into a pretty big lull.

Snowing pretty good still though. Mod flakes.

MPM it's moving NE . Put the regional away and look at Individual ones like you should be. Philly and Okx show it. Maybe the slot reaches you

You're on crack, Kevin.  You can't look at an invidiual station's radar to see the big picture--literally and figuratively.  Loop the damn thing and you'll see what you need to see.  The entire thing is heading very much east with a somewhat northern vector.

Like I said, with it's current motion the southern edge of the slot will go right over you (hopefully you stay on the snowy side!) and the north side looks to move through the WRJ/Bellows Falls area.

It might fill in, but I'd be worried.
