MHC is my favorite.  Hope it kicks in later :)  It's finicky and hard to predict.

THERE IS STILL A CHANCE THAT MOHAWK HUDSON CONVERGENCE (MHC)WILL
TAKE PLACE. CSTAR RESEARCH INDICATED THAT WITH A NORTHEAST WIND AT
GLENS FALLS...AND A NORTHWEST WIND (EVENTUALLY AT KRME). RIGHT
NOW...THE WIND THERE WAS FROM THE EAST...BUT SHOULD SHIFT TO THE
WEST IN A COUPLE OF HOURS.

MHC ALLOWS LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE...THE RESULT OF THE A NW WIND DOWN
THE MOHAWK VALLEY COLLIDING WITH A NORTH WIND IN THE HUDSON VALLEY
TO PRODUCE CONVERGENCE AND SOME LIFT...ENOUGH TO REGENERATE SNOW.
THIS LOOKS TO HAPPEN RIGHT AROUND 00Z...WHICH COULD ADD A QUICK IN
TO THE CAPITAL REGION.

EITHER WAY...IT LOOKS AS MOST AREAS WILL GET 8-14 INCHES WITH THE
STORM...WITH SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS THE HILLTOWNS. FOR ALL THE OFFICIAL SNOWFALL REPORTS PLEASE
REFER TO OUR PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT (PNS).

Might have to get box under that 14-18" color on the map at this rate! Gotta be pushing 14" at this point.

Yeah, I can't see how they didn't with that last update... areas that never saw sleet around BOS look to beat 14 pretty handily with what's left to move through on radar, for those that aren't already there.

But I don't need no stinking map to validate my feelings.
