Coming down hard West End, Gayton & Gaskins. From the way it looked this morning I wasn't thinking we'd be getting this much. Hard to see three houses down.

I'm at about 13 inches... If this continues until 5/6, could easily hit 17/18.

The 1pm official snowdepth at the airport was 8". Could we finally reach 12 before all set and done so we can shut up"?  :pimp:

With the areawide mix last night, the fact that E/NE of Richmond should hang on to snow the longest today may mean that these parts of town do better than the western metro when all is said and done

what's your location I prob only received another inch maybe inch 1/2 since this morning where I am prob about 9 for storm total... Wind picking up a bit

Not too far west of Henrico Doctors hospital. I've got almost 20 inches drifted on the car tire. I measured from the ground clear under my car to the level of most of my yard. I have about 15 inches piled on the sliding glass door... A buddy of mine around Virginia Center Common measured about 12 inches 2-3 hours ago.

Yep, I mentioned that elsewhere yesterday. Same thing happened with the February 5-6, 2010 and February 13-14, 2014 storm.

Really heavy snow in the city now. And that radar says probably a 2 hour period of heavy snow to come. This is getting good. Will the airport do it folks. Will they break a foot!?

Given past storms I would expect nearby reports to the airport would need to be at least 15+ for the airport to officially record a foot...
