Based on this updated LWX map I'd have to assume St. Mary's (and possibly Calvert) will be upgraded to WSW later this evening.

Over a inch, possibly two down here in Lewes. This is a wonderful storm so far! Just look how great my Christmas lights look in it!20171208_193216.jpg20171208_193211.jpg20171208_194201.jpg

Beautiful morning here. Trees and grass covered- roads clear. I picked up around 6 inches of snow so far. Just a few flakes falling still

You might get another 3-6 today.

Congrats to you guys over on the other side!

@SOMDweather did St Mary’s get any accumulation at all at any point?

I'd estimate around an inch or 2 on non-paved surfaces after onset yesterday. Appeared to have some melting over night.  Steady light snow now.

Just feel like we are really not going to get much out of this thing in middle Calvert.. radar remains unimpressive, and I’m watching that 2nd dry slot racing up from Richmond on radar... Bummer....

LWX cancelled the WSW for everyone but St Mary’s. My forecast is down to 2-4” now.

don't really know what's falling right now. it's bouncing off my jacket so there's that

Probably a mixture of snow grains and ice pellets (frozen drizzle in this case).

Deformation zone should swing through and drop another inch or two, but barring some good mesoscale banding, that's gonna be about it, most likely. Poor snow growth outside those bands are going to keep accumulations down.

Doesn’t surprise me.. I’ll be shocked to get 2” here.... with the dry slot the dusting we have will probably melt and the back end won’t be strong enough to put down much.. my kids are extremely disappointed

I feel so bad for my oldest (he's five). He was so excited last night. Then he woke up to this sh*t and now he's getting a sore throat too. :yikes:
