Snowed pretty much all night long and is snowing now, but not really able to add much accumulation to the dusting. I'd guess above 2200-2500 it's probably a bit below freezing and there might be an inch or so there on the leaves.

Maybe the snow showers tonight will put down a half inch or so since it should get into the 20s.

MRX has issued a SWS that mentions black ice being possible a large potion of the northeastern part of the Valley. Y'all be safe out there tonight and in the morning!

Temps are sprinting today. KTRI was 33 at 8 and 58 at 11 under sunny skies.

ETA: 66 at high noon with a SW wind. MRX already bumped up highs a bit, but we'll see 70° if cloud cover holds off long enough.

And then flurries in west Kingsport the very next morning...the wild swings of spring are definitely here.

I had to do some work today in Kingsport, and I missed seeing it where I was working, but heading back down I81, I see between the I26 interchange and mile marker 50, headed south, evidently a pretty good snow shower set up, as there was a nice dusting on the hillsides and few houses/barns in that area. Nothing south of that though
