What is your problem? What normal person tells someone to spend his money in a casino? You think I made that post to somehow hurt him or two help him realize that maybe its not such a hot idea to blow his hard earned money in a place where the house always wins?

How do you know ants gambling success rate? Maybe he won't blow his check. I usually come ahead a few grand everytime I go to AC

You know how many people are fasely imprisioned in this country every year? ALOT. Prisioners shouldnt be subjected to that. They are still people.

I find it odd that apologists never quite feel as sorry for the victims of crimes who have to spend the rest of there lives with the images of rape assault abuse and pain permanently seared into there memory that only dies when they do .

Wasn't aimed at you , just replied to "innocent " people in jail

We should never punish the innocent , but I just wish more advocates would stand up for victims who have suffered at the hands of the societies s,,,, bags

Lastly there are way too many criminals that roam free

I'm more concerned with locking them up

Some of you may not know, but there is a super moon tonight. It's been cloudy and raining up here SW of wevertown, NY, but I did get some pretty cool photos of the moon in a amber like color due to the upper level clouds. I will upload the pictures when I get back down to Staten Island since the internet is abysmal up here. Also If you are going to gamble take 50 bucks and penny slots because atleast you can make it last.

When did he hire you as a lawyer? I think I'm giving him sound advice by telling him he should save his money as opposed to wasting it away on gambling. I would think my opinion on the matter is the correct one. In fact I know my opinion is the correct one. You see, I don't subscribe to the idea that all opinions are valid and command equal attention.

Come on man don't argue for the sake of arguing. Gambling is a vice, just like smoking, drinking, drug use, etc. No one recommends these things to people unless they want to cause them harm.

I feel that if I told you guys that everyone should reduce their red meat intake and increase their vegetable intake I would still be attacked as judgmental, "progressive," etc.

I bet your parents told you guys to eat your vegetables and not to smoke. Were they judgmental, "progressive," etc? Was the opposing opinion of avoid vegetables and smoke cigarettes equally as valid?

Not all opinions are created equal. Yes, everyone can have one. But, someone could say the Earth is flat. Do we have to pretend this opinion is equally as valid as those who know the Earth is an oblique spheroid?

I maintain my position that opinions are not created equal.

That's your opinion (about opinions being equal), and you are entitled to it.  It's just that one of my "pet peeves" is\are bigoted people (don't mistake this for a personal attack).  While I agree completely agree with you that gambling is stupid and a complete waste of money, to proclaim that our opinion is the "correct" or "valid" one and all else are "not correct" or "invalid" is wrong, IMO.

If people want to believe that the earth is flat, then let them.  It doesn't affect me in any way.  If it gives them enjoyment in life believing that the earth is flat, then that's great.  Who am I to tell them that they are wrong?

If I have a friend that hates vegetables and enjoys smoking, and he talks about how great it makes him feel, then good for him.  It makes him happy in life, and that's what counts at the end of the day.  He might not live as long as the person who eats his broccoli and goes jogging every day, but if they are both happy and enjoying their lives, who cares?

Now, this is not me saying that I am right and you are wrong (and being a hypocrite), just discussing my side.

That's just my two wheat cents on the matter.

I think we have to draw the line when opinions contradict facts.

Snow88, I read here you're a cop. Dude be safe and thank you for putting your life on the line everyday.

I just lost my best friend of 12 years who was an officer on Sunday morning. This really sucks

Wow, I'm guessing you're talking about the 23 year old Jersey City officer who was shot and killed? Sorry for your loss dude.
