Just for the record I want to say you guys suck. lol. I am going to miss early week to the south it appears, and late week to the north as I have to go to Pittsburgh for business Tues-Friday.

In all seriousness, I am hoping you guys to the west, and especially middle TN (my old stomping ground) gets blasted .....and the snow dome over that way takes on SERIOUS damage!

Been gardening my arse off and haven't been in front of a computer all day. Trying to make the most of the beautiful weather while I can. I'm certainly interested in this event and feel pretty good about west and middle getting a stout winter storm. I think at this point the main question is when and to what degree the 850s crash. My gut says Dr. Yes is correct and there will be more snow than ice. I did eat some hot peppers tonight so my gut may not be trustworthy.

Gov. Haslam has closed all State Offices, statewide, for the remainder of the day due to weather. ETSU closed at 2:30pm with all remaining day classes, as well as night classes, cancelled. With the cold forecast for tonight, I'm expecting an ice rink in the morning.

The models are once again bouncing about. This morning the 06z GFS had a valley wide 2-4 inch snow. 12z nothing.

The Euro having something within 180 is a little encouraging. Though it''s getting tough to get snow below 1500 feet without a powerful upper low.

At face value, 12z Euro is a classic early spring snow; no elevation needed....988mb ain't no joke over our neck of the woods...a round of severe out ahead of it too certainly as jaxjagman has been saying. And it is the perfect way to break a snow drought in the west....still in watch and wait mode though.
