Hopefully it stumbles on its way up here. Unfortunately, short range models have kind of been emphasizing that warm layer more in the last few runs. I'd keep the kids at home and teach them about midlevel frontogenesis and cold conveyor belts... Ive tried that with grown ups, all they want is how much and when thats it. Unfortunately for power/trees/roofs this is the very gloppy snow we had last Monday. I'm still thinking there will be a good number of outages when the winds pick up later.
