This makes me very nervous for the AM, even in the city. We are going to see an abrupt switch to sleet & zr before the AM commute, and everything "unshoveled" is going to quickly glaciate. Given it is the middle of the night, there are going to be huge, huge problems, and I wonder if even Manhattan will have significant issues for pedestrians.

Given low forming further south and stronger with now these very heavy snow bands moving in... It may not go over to ice till perhaps during or after rush hour. There's going to be significant snow on the ground by then, given the way this is going.
