To my surprise, even after the intial squall it just kept snowing here...oddly the flakes got large and juicy as the temp fell to 17...plow just went up my road(why they couldn't have just left it,...guess it's a money thing)...sat outside and watched/listened to it...the trees are now plastered and groaning with the continued wind...as stated by another a solid 2"...I'd bet it's more, but I'm not gonna measure tonight, just glad tonight's white not brown...seems to be done now, sneak snow is always easy to live with...

Merry Christmas to All!!
AM low today here in NW Chesco was 16.7. Today will mark the 8th day this month with a below freezing high and the 11th such day so far this young winter season. This is already 3 days more than average for the month and +5 for the season to date thru December 31st.

Which is a totally incompatible comparison... but if it seems to dispute global warming, then hey, its ok right?

I am sitting at 43F

ahh, a lot of areas in your hood still in mid 30's though.

this should be interesting day for NW Jersey....NE PA.

From 6,000 feet upward....it's all snow...all day long.    How much of that gets pulled down, is the million dollar question.

Skew T looking slightly colder from 850 upwards...while we're fighting in the mid 30's most of the day.

Even areas just to our SW now are around 34.  Selinsgroove, PA.

Showtime in an hour or so..
