Here in Falmouth on the moraine overlooking Buzzard's Bay, it is eerily still. I'm out on the enclosed terrace with my dog and she's freaking because she never experienced such silence. No wind, no waves, nothing. I was staring at a rhododendron leaf trying to get some movement out of it, but nothing. This is as calm as it gets...and certainly around here.
