.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM THURSDAY MORNING/...
AS OF 354 PM EST WEDNESDAY...STILL WATCHING DEEP PLUME OF MOISTURE
AND ASSOCIATED PRECIPITATION STREAMING NORTHWARD AS PRONOUNCED
UPPER TROUGH AND MODESTLY DEEP SURFACE LOW TRACK THROUGH THE
REGION. MODELS REMAIN CONSISTENT IN SHOWING ENHANCED
OROGRAPHICAL/BACKSIDE DEFORMATION OCCURRING AS THIS PROCESS OCCURS
THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS AND WITH LOWER TO MID
LEVEL TEMPERATURES FALLING THROUGH TIME...A TRANSITION BACK TO ALL
SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST IS EXPECTED. TIMING OF CHANGEOVER GENERALLY
IN THE 5-7 PM TIME FRAME FOR THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY...AND 7 TO 9 PM
INTO CENTRAL/ERN VT. ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE FAIRLY LIGHT IN THE
LOWER ELEVATIONS...A DUSTING TO PERHAPS 2 INCHES. ACROSS THE
NORTHERN MOUNTAINS SOMEWHAT BETTER ACCUMULATION COVERAGE...ESP
ABOVE 1000 FEET IN THE NORTHERN GREENS WHERE A GENERAL 2-5 INCHES
IS EXPECTED. SUMMITS OF THE NORTHERN GREENS SHOULD DO QUITE WELL
HOWEVER...AND A MIXED BLEND OF SREF/WRF/RAP OUTPUT SUGGESTS A
SOLID 4-8 INCH DUMP ABOVE 2500 FEET.
AS A RESULT HAVE OPTED TO
ISSUE A WINTER WX ADVISORY FOR PORTIONS OF OUR NRN GREEN MTNS.

radar showing 35+ DBz around the Monroe Skyline/Mad River Valley.  Must be getting plastered that way if it's frozen (guessing it's changed there, too).

Well my guess is bright-banding right now... lots of snow and sleet reports around the area.  The flakes here in Stowe have been huge so radar reflectivity is a little over-done.

Thank you all for the storm info. Enabled me to get the wife up from ny yesterday without issue. Then today I pulled in to warren at 4 and it started snowing about a mile from the house. Easy drive and Perfect timing.

It's been snowing here continuously albeit without much accumulation. Maybe an inch or so since 5. It's blowing now and 24f.

Happy thanksgiving and thank you.

Although currently there is Very Light Rain here in Brunswick Maine. Our storm total is 2.21" of rain. This light rain will not add to much. Winds have switched to WNW and temps are down to low 40s along the coast. Crazy day! Top wind gust was at 10:30am and reached 48mph.

Gearing up for another day of winds tomorrow! Looking at gusts to 45mph.
