My dilemma right now, too.  Too late to try to beat the storm though.

 

yeah, at this point it would hit me on the drive home, I didn't realize how close it was to the city already. So just gonna hunker down here until it passes

Yeah, 'violent' is a good way to describe it. It came in as a wall, lasted for 5 or so minutes, and was out of here. 

 

Exactly. Zero visibility for a second. One of the trees in the parking lot lost a pretty big limb.

 

My office building (N. Bethesda) still has power, if anyone is benchmarking.

listening to AM radio, its static as heck... storm should hit me in central Baltimore very soon. Severe thunderstorm warning for me, tornado warning just to my south

 

WBAL report a possible tornado just east of Columbia
