Northshore Blizzard Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Amazing scene here in Medford. We finished with about 25 inches. The big story out here will be all of the stranded cars. Heading home yesterday about5pm, we were on North Ocean Ave, the traffic was crawling, but we were able to turn down our street. Hearing the stories this morning from motorists calling from their stranded cars, some of those who were on that road at that time are still sitting there. For this area, truly a HECS. Zelocita Weather Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 One of the most impressive and qpf prolific winter storms ever....nam was correct on qpf amounts...just to far west, happy to be involved in the storm even if not in the 20-40" jackpot zones....12" is still 12" 2 feet on the year and one moderate storm away from 'normal' for the season....
