SE ct never gets killed. Ever.

Well except for Boxing Day. Had 24 inches in Old Lyme for that one. May approach that again which would make two 2-ft storms in 3 years in the least snowiest part of the state. 0.85 W.E. so far in Old Lyme with this storm, so probably looking at 9-10 inches already.

No, way too early...you will prob rip really well later on aorund 06z....dpending on how hard and how long that occurs will detemrine your fate for 20"+ or just a 15-18" type deal, but def way too early. You might rot in that band later tonight into early tomorrow morning.

Ok thanks Will. I'll untie the noose. Snowing harder finally.

Big improvement here in the past 30 minutes with moderate to heavy snow and much improved snow growth. The panicking has ended at the moment. I was getting downsloped and garbage puke snow growth, but good mid level forcing is overwhelming it at least for now.

Hopefully this is the beginnings of a nice 700 mb deformation band forming overhead of us.

The good news for those of us on the western edge is that even though the storm looks to be east of OKX's longitude already, the moderate to heavy snow shield continues to build westward across Westchester and Rockland counties as the snow gradually shuts off across the city.

Yup, should be here fairly shortly. Moderate here now...
