Yeah, this NAM run looks even better than 12z. Didn't think that was possible. More digging in the northern stream, and a much stronger, consolidated southern stream vort. 

weird the way the southern stream vort jumps east from h18 to h21

Pattern is too progressive for that. Mixing might be an initial "problem" for coastal areas of course, but we're going to get absolutely hammered by the CCB, regardless. 

The progressive pattern that I was worried might screw us might actually save us. :lmao:

 

I do think the NAM is being a little too aggressive-no other model even comes close to showing a 500mb cutoff over the Carolinas.

I'll gladly take a bit more rain/mixing if that means we can get an even heavier CCB...
