Woke up to some nice snow shower activity here and a nice coating of white on the ground due to a little bit of upslope action on the west side of the Berkshires. Perfect dendrite growth. It's not much, but it's enough to get you in the mood and break up the monotony that has been.

12z nam keep sn- going there off and on thru TUES nite.

24/14, the partly cloudy skies w/passing flurries earlier have given way to mostly cloudy conditions with -snsh and flurries. Just a perfect day to cut the x-mas tree.

We had a perfect day yesterday, minus the snow, but frozen ground and hayrides, and of course a little baileys and coffee tailgating.

lights are on the tree, trimming it tonight, have a great time Pete!

Thanks, I love this time of year. Snow, Skiing, Sunday football, X-mas it's all just fantastic. It is even more fun with a 5 yo running around getting excited. Seeing the season through a child's eyes is really fun.

We're all going to have a White Christmas, fear not. I like that we're not going to make it out of the 20's here for the foreseeable future, The whole Autumn to Winter transition has been picture perfect this year, heavy snow will move in now as if on cue.

looks like some flurries developing over NE mass as we speak ...SE NH and over boston harbor

bomb going off in the atlantic as we speak?

There's a bit of an inv trough hanging around at the surface. The s.w aloft is probably helping to boost a little lift and that's why you see the little blossoming area of very light sn....probably aloft right now.

Its a pretty winter-like day here. Constant flurries/light snow showers all day and only 25F out there at almost noon. This is the northern fringe of more serious LES that is getting areas SW and W or here. Just a nuisance dusting here.

snow just starting to pick up in the greens, okemo now snowing, killington accumulating, upslope has begun, dendrites for hours and hours and hours.............enjoy hill folk.

3.5" last night here in Stowe village... now that the grass is covered we can hopefully start to build a snowpack with more upslope snow showers over the next 72 hours.

Nice persistent snows all the way up and down the Greens into the west slopes of the Berkshires and Taconics of eastern NY.
