Piece of cake, what Flyers need to make the playoffs:
Flyers win tonight in regulation vs. the Capitals
AND Red Wings loss tonight in regulation vs. Canadiens
AND Penguins loss Wednesday in regulation vs. New York Islanders
Welp…there’s always next year.

Think 3:23pm was peak. Or was it start? If so, no way that was 90%...
Yeah, 3:23 was it. Goes to show how little sunlight is needed for day ight.
Welp...unless I make travel plans, this is the last solar eclipse I'll experience in my life.

Thickest cloud cover of the day
But dark and I can feel the temp drop.

You can start by going back to the Phils last year being up 2-0. Ari ties it 2-2 Then the Phils only need 1 win to go to the WS with final 2 games at home. Ari wins. (Not epic but very bad)
Thanks for the reminder. I guess our epic, historic, snowy, nino winter helped me get over the Phils.

Flyers giving the Eagles a run for the most epic collapse down the stretch by a Philly sports team.
(Thank God I wasn’t around in 1964.)

So far several Chinook copters passed overhead with military staging in the Lehigh Valley.
Jinx!

I recall someone mentioning military exercises in the area this weekend. Chinooks have been flying overhead all day, I mistake them for aftershocks.
52F, breezy but hot in the car.

Bill Nye just reassured everyone it has nothing to do with the eclipse
One of my co-workers asked about that. I told them to hang some garlic around the house to be safe.

How much for Philly?
but seriously at my house, it felt like a freight train was going through my basement. Only way I can describe it.
I'm about 25 miles NW of Philly, felt it pretty good here.

Allow me to beat Chuck to the punch...mid-Atlantic seismic activity in the spring correlates to a +++AO/NAO combo the following winter.

Looks like 4" on the nose for the event. Could tack on another tenth or so as the upper low moves through, 42F.
