Anniversary today of the Morch firehose storm in 2015. That was the last time Morch was March and winter. Since then it’s gone for good
Wasn't there another big storm March 2019?

Story of the last two winters…can’t time anything right. It was Amazing CT got the the foot plus on 2/13(1st thing that worked out in two years) or this year would have finished the same as last year.
I'm convinced its just engineered/baked into the physics of the season..no matter what the models show past day 6..it will devolve into a less snowy outcome. easy money. Maybe it's Tip's Hadley Cell barking

What are you stuck in the 50s?
Maybe it was a dream for those who suffered during the Depression. I'd like to think that we've evolved enough to set some higher goals

Will probably was fed up with all the cry babying in this thread over the last few weeks.
It was the angriest I've seen him in mid Feb...before he disappeared.

6z Euro SKYNET has nada now

WInter was a D- here, could easily argue F though. Aside from a week in Feb where it felt and looked like winter, it was mostly dreadful.
Edit. The more I think about it, screw this winter. F

It looks like a 5 day window where something could pop, 3-17-3/21..before the non-winter pattern re-asserts itself.

All mets enjoy violence and damage. Every one of them. Don't let those who try to get all sanctimonious tell you otherwise.
Even Wankum?? Is he secretly wishing for the roof of the bingo hall to be ripped off while he's spinning the bingo cage for the elderly folks?

moss and shrooms will love it

ticks I imagine will be at an all-time bad this warm season. Lack of sustained cold seems to be correlated to all these increasing numbers of critters. Not just that ... but the whole invading southern species thing. Either taking advantage of a retreating frost line that no one in here admits while claiming they don't deny climate change ( snark intended - ), or even climate refugee diaspora in the animal kingdom in general, there's weird colored bugs with poky parts everywhere now that I don't recall ever seeing having lived my life along 40 N.
The week after this Thanks Giving, I pulled a tick off my person. I'm like Dec 2nd?! We're pullin' f'n ticks off in the winter now I guess.
I don't see how the last 10 years of statistical changes in the insect population was alleviated by this particular winter's shirking.
Seriously, I was hoping to wait and use the expensive cat/tick meds until spring.but looks like I have to start now. Thanks Greta
