    Fairly quiet in here for Late December.....not much to look forward to in the short term.....there at least looks to be some potential in the January 5-10 time frame. At worst its likely to go below normal temp wise for that period. Hopefully we can get at least some type of light event during this period.......

    On Sunday he posted this.....Data this morning keeps it dry through March 24....thats 14 days. River levels will drop that MUD in your backyard will become solid. Less than 84 hours later we have flooding rains in Virginia........ March 24 is Sunday just to remind you....... thats a BUST

    GFS FV3 is winter storm warning type snow for 50-75% of Virginia for Saturday. Unfortunately I dont believe in that model much at this time.

    I think we are going to need to be "lucky" to score on any chance next weekend. But that seems to be the case with most storms around here.

    Looks like we may have some chances the last 2/3 of February......Im willing to bet most would settle for one MECS for all and call it a Winter

    Canadian is showing a storm next Saturday as well...... also looks to be toward the end of a pattern change so maybe there is some hope we can score something.

    Late next week we should be in line for at least a couple small threats. Id be shocked if we get nothing between now and Feb 4

    Looks as if we cant score something in the Jan 30-Feb 2 window, we may have to regroup. Its not easy to get snow around here even in the heart of Winter we need most ingredients to come together just right and that just hasn't been the case so far.
