Any reports up in the Vernon, NJ area? I see temp at my house is 28.0°. It must be piling up quick.
Measured 8 on top my cooler about 45 minutes ago. I am in the valley, about 550 elevation

I'm at 1215' elevation in Vernon about 9 miles from you. No mixing issues here. We are at 4"? Post a pic of that 9".
I am at about 5 here at 550’ in the valley. He might have 6. But not 9

About 4in Vernon Valley. Huge flakes coming down now. Talking about 1-3 inch rates for next few hours per special weather statement for Sussex Co.

Had little bigger than pea size hail and gusts to well over 40 with that cell in Vernon. Wife saw 1+ inch hail in town on way home and several large branches down. Ton of lightning

Pea size hail storm in Vernon. Ground including roads completely whitened. Came in as hail and now ending as rain/graupel

Winter Storm Watch up for us in Sussex County. 5-7 inches of snow before changing to mixed precip. Pretty bullish by My Holly.

Both are quite similar in elevation to yours, so doesn't seem to be a topographic thing. I'm really surprised by the difference and curious to see what other reports in the area show tomorrow.
I am in the valley about 4 min from Mountain Creek and I had 2.15
