28F here this morning. Normal is 57/36.

I didn't go based on the cloud forecast. Here in Connecticut, it's sunny right now with some high cirrus clouds. A more substantial cloud deck is visible to the West. Hopefully we get to see the eclipse in Connecticut.

I'm considering staying home. I'm handicapped and not the best at driving in traffic. It's sounds like N New England is one of the few places that might have somewhat clear skies. So it's bound to be crowded.

The latest forecast I saw. Has only extreme Northern New Hampshire, Norteastern Vermont and Maine being clear for the eclipse.

I'm considering driving to Plattsburgh on Monday morning. There in the centerline and right now have a 17% chance for cloud cover. I just hope it's not crazy crowded driving up. It's about 4 hrs from my house.

37F rain/sleet mix. Lovely.

Sugarloaf looks to be cashing in on this storm. I saw a forecast calling for 12-18". That should set them up for a Regaee week with lot's of snow cover.

Any chance to see March snowfall in Enfield? I'll stay up late to see it snow.

According to NWS the winds are over 40 mph up high right now and saddleback is running both the kennabago and Rangeley. So that is promising.
I'm looking at the Sugarloaf webcams. And all the upper mountain lifts are closed. The flags on the beach are whipping in the wind.

No kidding about the vertigo above tree-line at a-basin! For the last run of the day we had to ski from the top of Beavers down the front side to the base in snow and fog. It wasn't just that the light was flat, we literally couldn't tell up from down. All the expert skiers looked like we'd never been on skis before until reaching the trees.
Looks like another epic weekend for the northeast! Will be at Killington/Pico Friday-Monday. Pretty amazing how great this season has been considering the positive temperature departures.
I got vertigo skiing at Mt Batchelor years ago. Skiing from the summit and no trees to give the snow much definition.

Ski Sundown is replacing the Exhibition Triple Chair with a Skytrak Quad with a conveyor loading area.

Legit concern especially if we get a late season cold snap.
Last year as you probably know we had no peaches and very few plums or cherries on trees around here. The apple crop was also negatively impacted. My friend owns Headwater Cider and he could barely press last year.
Maple syrup season is also going to suck if the temperatures are not getting below freezing at night. No apples at all last Fall where I live. The May 17th frost/freeze did severe damage. Some parts of Connecticut dipped into the 20's for several hours.

I'm a bit late with posting this. But I took my final adaptive skiing lesson on Sunday 2/25. At Ski Sundown. It was a beautiful bluebird day with temperatures in the middle 30's. I skied there 4 times this season. 1/31, 2/5, 2/15 and 2/25. It was lot's of fun, with freindly instructors. I had one more lesson booked for 3/6. But it looks like they might not make it that late, with rain and 60F temperatures in the forecast.

I was supposed to be in Montreal for the eclipse. Unfortunately my sister in law had other obligations.
