  1. What a shellacking on the gfs! I wish it were a more reliable model because for mby it's epic.
  2. RGEM 36 to 48 nails the crap out of us. I still think euro is the highest weight.
  3. Yeah I I would love to lock in the nam but goodness it's been 10 years since it had the same solution run to run.
  4. When I was your age I did that but no longer. Sleep is one of the most critical ways of staying healthy. And my body feels the difference. RGEM becomes more important tonight at least out to 36. Gfs is a pos....always farts right as an event is on the doorstep. I agree ride the euro. Will says 70% euro and that makes sense.
  5. The rpm will continue to change every 3 hours. Kind of pointless to put much stock in it outside of 12-24 from what the mets say.
  6. So tomorrow 12z? I have a hard time believing the the nam giving most of us 2 feet while NYC under a foot. Tossed.
  7. Ponder this friends, we will have a storm that lasts through 2 sleep cycles for those of us sane enough to not go allnighter.
  8. Dryslots immediate Boston area by 45-48 hours. By then a lot has fallen and hopefully it picks up again.
  9. It shifted east but I doubt it is that far when ground truth is measured in 36 hours.
  10. 33 now. Cf briefly goes west of you but mainly stays right on the shoreline.
  11. Cf apparent on the nam running right on the south shore up about to punch into cape ann and just east of BOS. I'm gonna have some fun.
  12. You. Should come Bryan. You'd get to meet Tip and realize he's as crazy as the rest of us. NAM is running. Here we go!
  13. I doubt people off the cape get under 18 inches. Writing is on the wall for this big boy.
  14. Not sure. I missed it as I moved to LA about 15 months earlier. I will go to my grave with the disappointment of missing that storm so hopefully this one is a decent match.
  15. SnowMan melted as the cold air to lay the foundation for the blizzard rolls in.
  16. Actually NWS and some TV mets forecasted it quite well but some prominent OCMs pooh poohed it.
  17. Looks like from about Newburyport then following roughly 495 down to just west of PVD.
  18. So I tried to post but couldn't. So I'll try again. The impact of 78 was largely due to a skeptical public refusing to believe the forecasts. Then when the start of the snow was delayed, they figured it wasn't happening. So lots of folks got caught on the roads. I can't ever see that happening today.
  19. You crazy bastard! I thought it was real for a second!
  20. might have posted this earlier....but it's my happiest thread on record.. http://www.easternuswx.com/bb/index.php?/topic/16708-hecs/
  21. I wish I had the old school storm summaries..l1950s/60s
