Almost 8" of rain this month. Pretty sure we will surpass 10 before August is up. That will make 2 months this summer with over 10" of rain with no tropical help. Something is going on for sure..and not a single day in triple digits

Yep I'm sick of it too. But has kept the temps in lower 90's at worst..a lot better than 100. One of the wettest summer's ever in NW SC! Hope that bodes well for winter and weather bell experts nail their forecast.

Going with burrel for here on a C. 3 separate events measuring a hair over 3". Better than expected for a nina. Just about average i guess. Flooding February is sure delivering with 4.5" of liquid thus far.

This weather board is virtually un-readable when theres not a a storm on our door step (mods arent watching closely). So many internet tough guys and dip s**ts that dont show any respect to other people. You try and look at mid term discussion and all you see is people bashing each other. I guess thats why the other forum has grown so popular...its a shame!

That warm meso at 925 is pretty "pronounced" in parts of the upstate up toward charlotte( as Mark has eluded to). But has retrograded pretty significantly in nw sc in the last hour.

Grit being that the gfs is so far off from the others do you even include it in a blend right now? Of course unless the euro goes that way.

Gfs sticking to its guns..seems to steadily squash the energy. So far its by itself with the lack of moisture

Any flakes at all thos early woyld be great and a win..no matter if it coats the card or just mixes in followed by some real cold. At leadt we got something to track this early.

Ive already done pre emergent on my yard. Zoysia turning green next to driveway and retaining wall (concrete holding heat). Trees are pollenating making for a long allergy season...again. Have fished 2 tournaments and fish are moving shallow quick. On keowee the power plant lake (warmer water) fish are spawning in some parts of the lake. About a month earlier than last year which was early.

Well i admit 0Z Gfs had me concerned and still does. Shows one possible scenario. But after euro and cmc i wasnt as worried and now the 6Z Gfs goes ham again. This will be an interesting week for sure of model hugging. Really appreciate the pbp last night by Grit and others! Lets get some good 12Z runs in today. -
