  1. Man my Saints are doing well. I was at that game. I really like the Ravens stadium and crowd, everyone was super nice and there was SO MUCH TAILGATING! Also, it was damn cold and windy.
  2. Going to the Ravens game today as a Saints fan! Excited to see my 5th away stadium.
  3. Mega gusty in Germantown. It's loud out there.
  4. Felt gorgeous this morning. Got my family visiting up from Louisiana where it is still 95 heat index, and I had to remind them to bring "winter clothes" haha!
  5. Can someone please make this winter a real one? I've seen the last two winters, was so excited for them, and got like 4" and 8" total. I was told there would be snow when I moved. Please make it happen.
  6. Man it’s storming in Gaithersburg. Lightning just hit my parking lot.
  7. Looks like the rain survived and is intensifying. This looks like it's gonna be a super-soaker.
  8. Got bullseyed on the western front too in Germantown, can even see it on the total rainfall maps, a small sliver of MoCo with 7+" from that one portion of the event. I'm at about 9" including that storm and everything since. Reminded me of the flooding event I had in Baton Rouge, except it was basically 2 straight days of the worst parts of it.
  9. Rain today revised downward. Got a Moderate risk today and tomorrow of significant rainfall from the WPC though.
  10. Same, we got those in Louisiana too. Feels like a dose of home, with cooler temps.
  11. Matches my ground truth. Shows Germantown in the jackpot zone.
  12. One of the really interesting things here was how spotty the rain amounts were. About 3 miles away, there was a station that reported 4". 3 miles in the other direction, 10". My area got 7.5". Regardless, lots and lots of rain everywhere.
  13. 7.75” in Germantown was my final total. One station reported 10”.
  14. PWS's range from 5-7.5" in my area. Two 7+" stations within a mile of me. Rain is still coming down too. Germantown is getting shellacked right now. I'm going to sleep. At this point It'll never end and I'll just assume everything's gonna be ultra flooded tomorrow.
  15. I literally would spam this forum if I kept posting water rescues but they are coming in ALL over the region. I’m above 7” now in East Germantown, multiple PWS verified. Rain still very steady.
  16. Rain rate has fallen to 1"/hour. Sitting at 6.5". Probably will end up with 7" on the day, more if the yellows sustain on the back end. Most rain since I've moved here. Downright tropical amounts.
  17. 5.7" but getting 2.2"/hour rain rates. Wow.
  18. 5.2" and going up. These reds are now training right over me.
  19. All local PWS around me in Germantown are pushing 5". There is one at 8" out with no other PWS nearby, so it's quite suspect, but the way the rain is coming down right over its location and me right now... yeah, lots of rain.
  20. Reds are exploding above me right now and the sky has started pouring, heaviest rain since I've moved here. Just got the buzzy phone warning.
  21. 4" in Germantown. Could we hit 5? Doesn't look like there's any chance of stopping. Gonna love to see Great Falls after this.
