Couldn't manage more than 3 drops of drizzle today.
-
Ended up with 1.07" for the event. .41 yesterday and .66" overnight.
Dare I say this is the rare event where west of the BR wins?

About an inch over the three days. Pretty boring.
Same here, and most of that this morning. By itself, that's great and beneficial. But it's not much help for us getting out of this deficit.

And meanwhile in Stephens City....not a drop.

Your study seems to give you the ability to predict March precipitation based on DJF snowfall. But...
.... If you can find a way to make March (accurately) predict the following year DJF snowfall; well, that would certainly get attention.
My research allows me to predict that whatever the hell happens in March there is a 90% chance that DJF snowfall will be below normal.

1.85 for March - even less than Stormy .... 2 consecutive months under 2 inches.... 0.00 since midnight.... With the exception of Nov Dec Jan almost every month going back to the end of 22 has been below average on precip...
Yep. Desert.

Drizzle. Yay! Shocked.

In other words, windy and dry in the Shenandoah Valley with heavy rain and severe storms east of the BR.

From people more knowledgeable than myself - I've heard that it's not as simple as "drop the anchor = stop the boat" - and as a prior poster said - it seems they DID attempt to drop it anyway.
The ship weighed 116,000 tons at the time. Dropping the anchor was not stopping that vessel.

I am seeing 68 for Baltimore for a high temp on Saturday. Will snow stick at 68 degrees?
All about rates.

Thanks. That moon is so bright I doubt they'd be visible anyway.

Aurora visible to anyone?

Doing a bit better than I thought we'd do. Looks like a general .8" over the Valley atm. Need every single drop we can get.

I am jealous. Mid Atlantic will get 3 inches of rain. All I eked out of that system was a half inch. You guys get all the luck (and all the beneficial rain).
Not all of us.

Another swamping rain for 95 and east, and another drizzle-fest out here while the Valley burns.

Can't speak for him, but we kinda need Friday night to come to fruition out here for rainfall.... Right at 2.71 total precip since January 28th.... With another day here with winds gusting in the 40s and the growing season starting - Its drying out pretty fast....
We are smoked out again here. There is a fire burning somewhere upwind.

Drove through 31F, heavy snow, with approx 1" on the ground through east PA on I-84 today. Get back to VA and it's sunny, 65F, hurricane winds and wildfires again. I'm so goddamn sick of this place.

Another summer day. It won't be long before 90F is recorded in March.
