Good Friday afternoon, mountain-folk.
I can, today, finally feel like I have some legitimacy posting in this sub-forum.  My wife and I, although still firmly homesteaded in the barely-above-sea level, relative flatness of western Bibb County, Georgia, bought a little piece of altitudinal heaven yesterday. 
We closed on a little house outside of Highlands, down hwy 106 towards Scaly Mountain.  Sits at 3,717ft, as best I can tell. 
Looking forward to hanging out there and will be setting up new weather station when my Starlink finally arrives.
 

Down to 63 so far. Hoping we make a run at 49 tonight.

Absolutely gorgeous this afternoon. DP has dropped almost 10 degrees so far.

Storm North of Burnsville got real wrapped up for a little bit, surprised it didn't get warned. Maybe a quick TDS, too? Hard to tell around here.

That tornado warned storm looked like it had a TDS for a couple scans there.

More storms moving in from TN. Line looks stout.

Yeah pretty nice day out. High of 67 makes the 2nd day this week below 70. Don't know when the last time that happened in early August.

Dreary day here so far. We're getting downsloped pretty badly but picked up just enough rain to keep everything soaked. Only benefit is it's cool.

.35" here today only sitting a tick under 3/4" for the week, majority of that was this morning. We really got left out yesterday afternoon, everyone around us picked up a bunch but we were in a rain hole.

Happy 4th folks! First completely dry day in a while here at rhe house, naturally after we just finished up installing new kitchen cabinets.

Got another third of an inch with some hail. First hail of the year here if my memory is right.
