It is really snowing here again. Radar shows multiple embedded heavy cells with breaks in between.

Gotta go to the snowbelts if you want the big snows!
I would have liked to have been here the winter SYR got its 192 inches

Leaving Cicero Thursday to ride out the storm on Long Island.
Of course, if the low shifts west by 00z Thursday and looks to go across NYC I'll go to the catskills
In the off chance Onondaga gets into the goods, which is not likely I'd stay here

NYC and at least western LI will definitely need some ticks to get into the game at this stage but up here we need some huge shifts
Which as we know happens, remember March 2017 I think and that low which dumped 2 feet plus in the Catskills originally had NYC in its crosshairs but low kept nudging west and west on each subsequent run

I am in a very precarious position in the Catskills with this setup, starting to have some doubts creep in about seeing much of anything from this while NYC East easily pulls 12+ with jacks of 20+
Well, I might be headed from just North of Syracuse, say hello to Liberty then if it comes to fruition head to Lynbrook on Long Island

It’s pouring snow here right now. Visibility is < 1/4 mile.
Hopefully it drops 4 miles to your south and pays me a visit in Cicero

To answer your question from earlier, things are looking good for a little lake effect event for us tomorrow pm on WNW flow. I could see BGM putting us under advisories for maybe 3 to 6 inches (and pockets of possibly higher amounts) with the pm updates today.
Matt, what do you see max for tonight, up to an inch?

I'll concern myself with the weekend in the next24-48 hours; in the meantime I'm watching the next 24-36 hours with the clippers

That band is moving south now towards Cicero and Cuse; no high expectations, a dusting to an inch.
I'll take it what choice is there

Nothing here in Cicero to look forward to short term.
An inch, maybe two by Tuesday.
It is what it is but I did land at minus 13 this morning
