Correct - I got in trouble in 7th grade English for staring out the window at the snow falling in Marticville. Mr. Musser didn't seem to understand the significance of May snow like I did.
I got told in school that nobody was going to pay me to stare out a window. Jokes on them. I do that all day long and get paid decently for doing it.

I just can't watch it anymore. Any all star game except for baseball, but they're money grabs so they're not going away. If the NBA wants to spice things up and generate some eyeballs, they should introduce prison rules for the All Star Game.

Some in the ABE "area" have scored 2-3 feet in a week.
It's pretty incredible when you think about it. Think back to 7-10 days ago. No one saw this coming, and anyone who would have forecasted it would have probably been mocked and laughed at vociferously.

All this talk of snow and I was out laying in the sun working on my suntan...

Wind must be fierce back there. It's extremely rare for me to get a gust over 20mph due to my station location, but this morning I registered a 24mph gust.

My NWS forecast has less than an inch tomorrow night.
Same for Tamaqua, but hey, Lancaster has a winter storm watch.

February 24th: @Voyager shares a picture of snow in Tucson. Now the freaking desert is ahead
I think I actually did do that, last winter, when downtown Tucson did indeed get an inch of snow...lol

Seems to be around a foot for Tamaqua per my daughter, and the 11 inches reported to the NWS in their statement.

Snow showers? Makes it sound like it's just going to snow off and on throughout the event, which is really not how true snowstorms act in PA.
TonightSnow showers, possibly mixed with rain. Low around 29. Light east wind increasing to 11 to 16 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.TuesdaySnow showers, mainly before 10am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 34. Northeast wind 14 to 17 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. -

In every thread on here the good posters that make quality contributions day after day are getting attacked…
What a crazy freaking world we live in!
Canderson for moderator!
I know he'd do a good job keeping things civil here without being over the top heavy handed.

The airport, as of 5pm yesterday, had already recorded 23 inches. The railcam is snowing pretty good right now.
I forgot about the rail cam. My niece just messaged me and said she got another 14" today so far. So that's 37" between yesterday and today. Now she lives in Flagstaff proper. South of Flag on I-17 (Munds Park and Kachina Village) gets more usually. I'll bet those areas are 40" or better.

No plows, but this pic is of the Loop 101 in Scottsdale from back in 2013. The green sign reads Via De Ventura, Pima Rd/90th St, and Shea Blvd for those familiar with the area.
