Impressive PYM ob...if you aren't familiar with them, the airport is actually kind of depressed in a bad wind spot, so G46 there is solid. Also like the M1/4 vis.

Not to mention the TS in there.

Will be interesting to see where the western band sets up.  Right now as the snow pushes in from the se, the band seems to enhance and not erode just to the nw of MHT.  Looks like the subsidence now is just se of CON.  That will certainly change as the day goes on.  The western band over eny wma and svt looks good and steady and is bending towards sw nh.

Models have that western band being our main show I believe. Dare I say, something like the ICON shows.

Anybody besides me see the meteor yesterday evening? Just before 6pm, driving north on 91, saw a decent fireball. There were several reports from PA to ME.

Crap. I need to view my cam now. I caught the one from a couple years ago.

He does note it fell over the night of the 12th, but I'm more concerned with the 1.35" turning into 34" of snow. That's awfully dry for 32 SN.

Was he letting it fall into the can though? That usually greatly underreports w.e...especially if the snow was all stuck around the side of the gauge too.

I do like Tip's blue snow mentioned in the comments.

They also had snow up to knicker levels in Feb 1894, 45" for three days after Valentine's Day. Started the month with 23" OTG and packed on another 24.9" to reach 45". Records do look a little sketchy at that time, just add new snow to current snow depth to get new snow depth.

There's also Feb 1983 that hit 40 and 41" within a couple days of each other late in the month.

But 1970 looks like the first modern era 40" snow depth.

What do you have on mid-April 1933? Is this a weenie measurement?

Coldest storm I've ever been in. We had heavy snow and -1F at one point. Think we made it to -3F while the steady snow was still falling.

Not a storm, but this was pretty impressive.
