Down this way had 0.9" at 7am. Don't think any more was added with the few flakes that fell thereafter. Pretty nice. All gone now(6pm).

Maxed out at 96F!! Previous official Oct. max. 88F. Unofficially 89F in 1941. Whatever, 96F in October is ridiculous!

A7 7:40am (3/1) 1.5", 33F. Still flaking a little, but believe to end is at hand.; radar agrees. 1/2" or less was forecast, so ,not to bad.

As of midnight 0.6", light snow. 33F. Very nice.

Just looked outside (11pm) and was very surprised to see the ground white! Had to have started just after 10pm. Temp. 34F so we'll see how it goes. Will measure soon.

Friday, 11pm: 15F, mostly clear. 3.0" the final total. Wonderful over-achiever!

Friday, 7pm: 19F, still snowing very lightly, 2.8", pressure 30.41" and rising, wind N5G9mph. Very nice winter day. Will it happen again this month? Hoping for sure!

Friday, 4pm: 20F, S-, 2.4", wind N5G9mph, pressure 30.36". Quite surprised with today's little snow! Started about 7:30am. Only expected 1/2" or so. Very nice indeed.

11F for the low here. Cold for sure but had colder in January, 2018: 10F on the 6th and 7F on the 7th. Both were just after 7am. Way it goes.

Down this way some light snow 10:30-11:15pm. Enough on the ground to notice with a bare coating on the car; temp.  dipped to 33F.  Oh well.

Sunday, 10am: 4.1" on ground, still snowing lightly, 31F/DP 29F, wind NE7G17mph, pressure 30.37". Pickup 1" from 7am til 10am. Me thinks the end is nigh.

Sunday, 7am: 3.1" on ground, snowing lightly, 29F, wind NE10G15mph, pressure 30.49".

As of midnight Sat.>Sun. a whopping 0.2" with light (very light?) snow, 29F, no wind, bar. 30.48". Snow began about 7:30pm.

Excuse me....did you actually say Cape May? Just some light-heartedness. I'd be thrilled, but I'm always ready to share too. So far looking pretty good.

16F for a very impressive low. Last colder for November 14F in 1947.

As of 9am(27th) 2.01" total and a peak wind gust of 52mph at 4:44am.  Radar showing rain outta here. Wind dropping off as well. Now it's just an autumn Saturday!

Low here also 55F. Interestingly 55F is just 1F below today's normal low. The nights have been soooo above normal! Looks like we're heading back in that direction. FWIW my normal (1981-2010) monthly low for Sept. is 47F. Unless something radical happens tonight 55F will be this Sept.'s low.

Here in Cape May 2013-14 averaged 33.6F, 3.5F below the 1981-2010 normal.

Rain seems to be north or south of here generally, but not overnight today (18th-19th). Picked up 1.45" from 11pm-6am with thunder now and then; nothing special. Now, how humid will it be today? Ugh!

Down this way as of 7pm 1.94" for the day. Just a random drop now and then happening now. Peak wind gust E39mph at 2:19pm. Wind much lighter now.

According to NOWData seems my 52F low for this morning (9th) is a record for Cape May 2NW by 4 degrees. Felt real good!

Just read Larry Cosgrove's newsletter. Paraphrasing, he states the cold pattern beginning tomorrow will be short-lived and transient replaced with near normal temps by early next week. Mentions zero threats for wintry weather on the horizon. He is locked in for a mild pattern evolving in 10 days with cold bottled up over AK with Canada/USA mild as a whole. He says he isnt sure how long the mild pattern lasts but there is no getting around the return to mild as the pattern continues to be MJO driven. I hate to say it, but the cold pattern coming barely deserves to be called cold. Looks to be a few degrees below normal at best, unless I'm missing something. Yuk.
